What’s interesting here (because the basic info “Holy Crap, Samuel L. Jackson is on Twitter!?” part) is that he gets what I think is sort of basic about it: if you Tweet they will come. Bouncing an idea out there or saying something nice to people is what I think it is, or at least should be, all about not just blatant self-promotion.
